New Delhi: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced early Saturday morning that its official Instagram account has been compromised. In a social media post published on X at 8:25 AM, the political outfit disclosed that it has completely lost access to the platform. The security breach comes at a time of significant digital growth for the party, with its Instagram following recently reaching 21.7 million, while its presence on X has grown to 193,000 followers.
The digital disruption follows serious security concerns raised by the party’s founder, Abhijit Dipke, who claimed on Friday that he had received death threats through WhatsApp. Dipke shared screenshots of the threatening messages publicly to substantiate his claims. The intimidation tactics emerged shortly after Dipke launched his first online petition demanding the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the recent NEET paper leak controversy.
The sudden escalation in political friction and the rapid digital rise of the young leader have caused deep anxieties for his family. Residing in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, Dipke’s parents expressed profound concern for their son’s safety. Speaking on the situation, Abhijit’s father remarked that given the volatile political atmosphere today, it is only natural for a family to feel fearful regarding their child’s security.
