Punjab News: Two Youths Shoot Bullets on Ludhiana Highway, Police Hunt Underway

Ludhiana: A disturbing video has surfaced showing two youths firing a pistol in the air on a national highway in Ludhiana, Punjab. During the act, one youth was instructing the other on how to hold and fire the weapon, while a third person recorded the incident. Around three rounds were discharged, causing alarm among onlookers.

The footage prompted swift police action. Authorities have identified the accused as Harjap Singh of Sector 32A and Mohit Khanna, but both remain at large. The incident reportedly occurred near Shivpuri Chowk, although the exact date of the recording is still unknown.

Police initially faced challenges tracing the location, but CCTV footage and other evidence confirmed the youths’ reckless firing and disturbance in the area. The case is now under investigation by ASI Davinder Singh, and charges have been filed under Sections 125 BNS, 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act at Daresi police station. Officials are also verifying the firearm’s legality and the criminal records of the accused.
