National Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka highlighted that the primary catalyst for the protest was fulfilled earlier in the day when Dharmendra Pradhan submitted his official resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ranka further detailed that government delegates agreed in principle to provide an honorary financial compensation of one crore rupees to families of students who died by suicide amid the NEET examination controversy, subject to established administrative guidelines. Additionally, the party submitted a five-point charter advocating for comprehensive structural reforms in public examination protocols, with follow-up meetings scheduled in four weeks to review implementation progress.
A central outcome of the tripartite discussions involves the complete withdrawal of legal proceedings initiated against student activists. Spokesperson Saurav Das stated that the central government pledged to drop all First Information Reports registered in Delhi and across BJP-ruled states in connection with recent demonstrations. Authorities are expected to share official records of the estimated 15 to 20 local FIRs within four days to begin formal retraction procedures, alongside a written guarantee by Tuesday ensuring that no fresh cases will be filed against organizers or participants.
