Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said that officers and employees should discharge their duties with a spirit of service and a sense of dedication towards the nation. He said that ensuring citizens receive the benefits of government schemes is the greatest form of public service, as it provides support to those in need.
The Minister was addressing a district-level Seva Sankalp Abhiyan programme organised at Shri Krishna Pranami Temple in Bhiwani on Thursday as the chief guest, to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service.
The Minister also enquired about the well-being of persons with disabilities residing at Apna Ghar, which is being run on the temple premises, and presented them sweets. During the programme, stalls were set up by various departments, including Health, Banking Services, Transport, Agriculture, Swachh Bharat Mission, Animal Husbandry, Food and Supplies, District Child Welfare Council, and Women and Child Development, to provide information about government schemes and services.
