New Delhi: In response to questions regarding the funding of his higher education in the United States, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke stated on Monday that he is ready to make public his scholarship and education loan sanction letters if Prime Minister Narendra Modi discloses his academic degree. Speaking to reporters in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dipke addressed recent inquiries into his personal finances, asserting that his degree is authentic and that he expects similar transparency regarding the Prime Minister’s educational qualifications.

The controversy arose after a Surat-based Right to Information activist sought an official probe into the financial assets of Dipke’s father, a retired government employee, questioning how he funded his son’s studies abroad. Dipke clarified that he financed his Master of Science degree in Public Relations from the College of Communication at Boston University through a university scholarship alongside an education loan, which he is currently repaying. He welcomed any formal investigation into his academic records and financial background, maintaining that he has nothing to conceal.

Addressing the political trajectory of the movement, Dipke clarified that the Cockroach Janta Party currently has no immediate intentions of converting into a formal political party, preferring instead to operate as a public movement. He expressed concern over diminishing public trust in electoral processes, alleging that voters feel disillusioned when elected representatives switch parties and governments shift post-election. He added that the organization remains focused on holding authorities accountable and addressing public grievances rather than pursuing electoral office.
