Ayodhya: The Uttar Pradesh government’s decision to constitute a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine allegations related to the Ram Temple donation matter has received support from the Chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra, who praised the administration for its prompt action.

Speaking on the development, Mishra said the state government demonstrated seriousness by setting up the high-level probe panel within a day of the issue surfacing. He noted that senior-ranking officials have been entrusted with the investigation, reflecting the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability.

According to him, the speed with which the probe has been initiated deserves appreciation, and the public should allow the investigation to proceed without speculation. He highlighted that the SIT has been assigned a strict timeline of 15 days to complete its work, with an initial report expected within the first seven days.

Mishra also indicated that the committee’s findings would go beyond establishing facts and would include recommendations aimed at addressing any procedural gaps or administrative shortcomings that emerge during the investigation.

He added that if deficiencies are identified, corrective measures would be suggested to strengthen systems and prevent similar issues in the future. The objective, he said, should be to improve institutional mechanisms while maintaining public confidence.

The formation of the SIT follows allegations surrounding donation-related transactions linked to the Ram Temple project. The state government has maintained that the investigation will be carried out in a fair and impartial manner, with officials expected to examine all relevant aspects before submitting their report.

The inquiry is being closely watched, with stakeholders expecting the probe to provide clarity on the matter and recommend appropriate action wherever necessary.
