The deceased have been identified as Manpreet Singh Mani Mahadev and Harikirat Singh Harry, both residents of Ghanaula village. According to information received, the two friends were returning home after visiting a religious place when the accident occurred.

Heavy rainfall was reported in the area during the night, and while travelling back towards their village, their motorcycle reportedly rammed into a truck parked on the Malakpur flyover. The impact of the collision left both riders critically injured.

Family members said Manpreet Singh, popularly known as Mani Mahadev, worked in religious tableaux and performances during jagratas and also operated a salon in Ghanauli. Harikirat Singh, known as Harry, was employed as a makeup artist in the film industry. The two had shared a close friendship since childhood.
