JALANDHAR — A horrific road accident near Kishangarh village on the Jammu National Highway has claimed the lives of an Indian Army soldier, his wife, child, and mother. The collision, driven by high speeds, completely crushed the family’s vehicle and left the local community in deep mourning.
According to preliminary reports, the soldier had recently returned home on leave to visit his family. The tragic incident occurred while the family was embarking on a religious pilgrimage to Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib. While travelling on the national highway, the driver reportedly lost control of the speeding vehicle, causing it to cross over the median divider and crash head-on into an oncoming car on the opposite side of the road.
The impact of the crash was exceptionally severe, reducing the car to a mangled heap of metal and inflicting fatal injuries on all four occupants. Upon receiving notification of the collision, local police officials rushed to the scene to initiate emergency protocols and manage the highway traffic. Law enforcement authorities have taken custody of the bodies and dispatched them for post-mortem examinations as part of the ongoing investigation into the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
