Punjab Youth Dies in Road Accident in US, Village Khalra in Mourning

Khalra/San Francisco: A 25-year-old youth from Khalra village in Punjab lost his life in a tragic road accident in the United States, leaving his family and hometown in deep shock and grief.

The deceased has been identified as Deepkaran Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh. He had moved to the United States around one and a half years ago in search of better employment prospects and was residing in San Francisco, California.

According to family sources, the accident occurred on January 21 while Deepkaran was returning home after work. A speeding vehicle reportedly hit his car from behind, causing serious injuries. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Doctors made sustained efforts to save his life, but he succumbed to his injuries after several hours of treatment. The exact circumstances of the accident are under investigation.
