New Delhi: Former Punjab MLA Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh reached Delhi on Monday and paid obeisance at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib ahead of his reported induction into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Singh, who resigned from the Punjab Assembly earlier in the day, visited the gurdwara along with Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon. He was blessed by head granthi Giani Ranjit Singh during the visit.
According to the Babushahi Network report, Singh is scheduled to join the BJP later on Monday, along with former AAP MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra and Chetan Singh Joremajra.
The reported move comes after Singh’s resignation from the Punjab Assembly. Further details about the formal joining ceremony were not immediately available.
