Punjab Police Arrest Two Shooters in Rana Balachauria Murder Case

Mohali: Punjab Police have arrested two shooters involved in the murder of kabaddi promoter Rana Balachauria, who was killed in Mohali’s Sohana area. The accused have been identified as Karan Pathak alias Karan Defaulter and Tarandeep Singh. Both were apprehended on Monday from Howrah in West Bengal.

The arrests were carried out with the assistance of multiple agencies, including the Sikkim Police, Mumbai Police, West Bengal Special Task Force (STF), central agencies, and the local Howrah police.

In addition to the two shooters, police have also arrested Akash, a close relative of foreign-based handler Amar Khabe Rajputa, in connection with the case.

According to sources, all the arrested accused will soon be brought to Punjab for further interrogation. Police officials said raids are still underway to identify and arrest other associates linked to the murder, as investigations continue to unravel the entire conspiracy behind the killing.
