Chandigarh — The Punjab government has announced a special session of the state assembly to deal with the devastation caused by floods. The session will be held from September 26 to 29, 2025, and is expected to bring crucial decisions for flood victims and the state’s safety.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann shared the update on social media platform X, stating, “A special session of the Punjab Assembly will be held from September 26 to 29 to introduce public-friendly amendments related to flood devastation and to approve new laws concerning compensation.”
