Jammu: The revered Vaishno Devi Yatra has officially resumed today after a brief halt due to severe weather conditions. The pilgrimage was suspended for three days as a safety precaution, prompted by heavy rains, thunderstorms, and the heightened risk of landslides in the Trikuta Hills area.

In response to improving weather conditions, authorities have cleared the pathways leading to the sacred Bhawan and have implemented rigorous safety measures to ensure the well-being of all pilgrims. Officials from the Shrine Board have confirmed that the Yatra is now proceeding without any hindrances, allowing devotees to continue their spiritual journey.

Pilgrims, who had patiently waited for the Yatra to resume, expressed their relief and heartfelt gratitude. Many of them, eager to seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, resumed their trek with renewed enthusiasm.

The authorities have also urged all devotees to stay informed about the latest weather updates and follow official safety guidelines during their pilgrimage. With improved conditions, both the Shrine Board and local administration are ensuring a smooth and secure journey for everyone involved.
