Gurugram: A shocking murder case has come to light in Gurugram, where the body of a young delivery worker was discovered concealed inside an iron box in a slum cluster, prompting a police investigation.
The victim, identified as 24-year-old Aman from Bihar, had been working in the city and residing in Sector 54. His body was recovered late Sunday after police were alerted by his family members.
According to officials, a complaint was lodged by the victim’s elder brother, who said he received information from one of Aman’s acquaintances about the alleged killing and the location where the body had been hidden. Acting on the tip-off, police teams reached the site and retrieved the body from the container.
Initial examination revealed multiple injuries, suspected to have been caused by a sharp weapon, indicating that the crime may have taken place several days before the body was discovered.
Police have registered a case against a woman who was reportedly living with the victim and one of her associates. Both individuals are currently under suspicion, and efforts are underway to trace and apprehend them.
Investigators are also examining call records and other evidence to reconstruct the sequence of events leading to the crime. The body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Authorities said further details will emerge as the investigation progresses, adding that all angles, including personal disputes, are being explored.
