Beed, Maharashtra: A couple and their two young daughters were injured on Saturday morning when a fire brigade vehicle, part of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s convoy, collided with their motorcycle in Beed district, police said.

The accident took place around 11:30 am on the Telgaon–Dharur Road in Dharur tehsil. Pawar was travelling from Parbhani to Dharur when the fire brigade vehicle in his motorcade struck the family’s two-wheeler.

The victims, identified as Vishnu Sude, his wife Kusum, and their daughters aged three and seven, sustained injuries in the collision. They were first taken to Dharur Rural Hospital and later shifted to Swami Ramanand Teerth Rural Government Medical College and Hospital in Ambejogai for advanced medical care.
