Chandigarh: Haryana’s Minister of State for Sports, Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Gaurav Gautam today formally inaugurated the construction work of all roads in the Radheyshyam Colony area of Palwal.

On this occasion, the Sports Minister said these roads will be built by the Municipal Council at a cost of approximately Rs 2.25 crore. He said the State Government is committed to providing basic facilities to the people.

Good roads are the foundation of development in any region, and once this construction work is completed, commute in Radheyshyam Colony and surrounding areas will become smoother.

The Sports Minister said continuous efforts are being made to make Palwal clean and beautiful. Work is being done so that no street, neighbourhood, or colony has an unpaved road and all are properly constructed. The government is continuously working on the principle of “Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas.” During the first year of the government, development works worth crores of rupees were carried out in the Palwal Assembly constituency, primarily focusing on roads. To ensure that people do not face inconvenience in commuting, the government prioritized the improvement of roads.

He said in the coming times, continuous efforts will be made to develop Palwal further, promote youth in sports, and develop stadiums, metro connectivity, and a medical college, which will give Palwal a new identity on a different platform. On this occasion, Yash Pal, Chairman of Municipal Council Palwal, along with officers from various departments and other dignitaries were present.
