CHANDIGARH: Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, who also heads the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted to resolve employee grievances, held a series of meetings on Wednesday with representatives of various employee unions to discuss their service-related matters.
During the discussions, the union leaders presented their respective memorandums focusing on key issues such as service regularization, salary enhancements and allowances, job security, and departmental integration.

The meeting concluded in a very positive and cordial atmosphere. Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema listened attentively to the issues raised by the union representatives. He assured, “The CM Bhagwant Mann led government is committed to employee welfare and that all your legitimate demands would be fulfilled soon.”
The delegations included representatives from the All Diploma Degree Apprenticeship Association, the Water Supply and Sanitation Social Employees Union, the All Punjab DST (Dual System of Training) / CTS (Craftsmen Training Scheme) Contract Instructor Union (ITIs), the MGNREGA Karamchari Union Punjab, and the Punjab AIDS Control Employees Welfare Association.
