Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini said that development works in the Ladwa Assembly constituency are being carried out at a rapid pace. Various projects worth crores of rupees are underway in both rural and urban areas of the constituency. Once these works are completed, the people of the area will receive better facilities and services.

The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering on Saturday after inaugurating the beautification of Saraswati Chowk in Babain, Kurukshetra. During the visit, he listened to the problems of local residents and issued directions to officers for their resolution.

Nayab Singh Saini said that a Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Memorial is being constructed on nearly five acres of land in Umri, Kurukshetra. The Rakshi River is being paved, and road construction work is being carried out in Ladwa city. Similarly, a Government Veterinary Polyclinic has been established in Biholi.  Farmers’ welfare at the core of our policies

The Chief Minister further said that the present government has discontinued Abianaa (irrigation water tax) that had been in place since the British era. A new law has been enacted to protect farmers from those who manufacture and sell fake fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides. Under this law, there is a provision of up to five years’ imprisonment for offenders.

Deputy Commissioner, Vishram Kumar Meena, Superintendent of Police Nitish, Agarwal, District President, Tijender Singh Goldy, Jai Bhagwan Sharma DD, Chairman, Market Committee Jaswinder Jassi, and other dignitaries were present.
