Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today laid the foundation stone of indoor ice skating rink-cum- roller skating rink at Sakoh (Dharamshala) in Kangra district to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 33.78 crore.
This building will have the facilities of gym, billiards room, cafe on basement floor, VIP lounge on ground floor along with upper balcony with sitting capacity for 1079 people. The open roller skating rink will offer capacity for 250 persons besides parking facility for 250 vehicles.
Sukhu directed the authorities concerned to complete the project in a time bound manner while ensuring quality in the construction work. The Chief Minister also dedicated a state-of-art faecal sludge and septage management (FSSM) facility for the Dharamshala town, constructed at a cost of Rs. 982 lakh.
The facility has a designed capacity of 60 KLD which would serve seven unsewered wards, covering approximately 7500 households.
