Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has mourned the death of Chairman 7th State Finance Commission and MLA from Rampur assembly constituency Nand Lal who passed away today morning at Shimla. He was 72.
Conveying his condolences to the bereaved family, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that Nand Lal worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people. He said that his contributions to the development of Rampur area would always be remembered by the people.
Nand Lal was elected to Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022. He also served as Chief Parliamentary Secretary from 2013 to 2017. The Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
