Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Begins with ‘Nasha-Mukt Haryana Namo Marathon’

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has opened new avenues to channelise the energy of the country’s youth into the strength of the nation. Khelo India has provided a platform to sporting talent, Fit India has promoted the message of a healthy lifestyle, Skill India has connected skills with opportunities, while Startup India has infused a new spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. Similarly, the MUDRA Yojana and Stand-Up India have opened new avenues for self-employment and entrepreneurship for the youth.

The Chief Minister was addressing thousands of participants as the Chief Guest at the ‘Nasha-Mukt Haryana Namo Marathon’, organised in Ambala City on Thursday to mark the commencement of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Earlier, the Chief Minister planted a sapling and gave the message of environmental conservation

The Chief Minister said that it is with this spirit of service and resolve that the ‘Nasha-Mukt Haryana Namo Marathon’ is being organised from Ambala. Greeting every youth, sportsperson, student, daughter, parent, volunteer and all other participants in the marathon, he said, Namo Haryana Ka Yahi Armaan, Nasha-Mukt Rahe Har Insaan.

Nayab Singh Saini said that the marathon is not merely a run, it is a run for awareness, a run for responsibility and a run for resolve. Ambala is sending a message to the entire State that Haryanvi youth will be known not for drugs, but for their courage and determination.
