Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini urged young people never to lower their ambitions and to work towards their goals every day. He advised them to care for their physical and mental well-being, stay away from drugs and despair, and join their friends in community work for their villages and society.
The Chief Minister was addressing a youth rally at Bagowal village in Punjab’s Balachaur constituency on Saturday. Ravi Inder Singh Balachaur joined the BJP along with his associates on the occasion. Welcoming them, the Chief Minister extended his congratulations and assured them of full respect and recognition within the party.

The Chief Minister said the entire country was celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who brought approximately 560 princely states together to unite India. His birth anniversary was therefore observed as National Unity Day, he said. He extended greetings on the occasion and paid tribute to Sardar Patel.
The Chief Minister said the gathering at Bagowal had sent a clear message that Punjab’s youth recognised their strength, did not shy away from hard work or fear challenges, and stood ready to secure the future of their families and villages.

The Chief Minister said the BJP’s anti-drug yatra in Punjab had received wholehearted support from the people. He described the ongoing campaign to involve local youth in sports and improve rural sports stadiums as an initiative that would help society progress. It would provide young people with playgrounds in every village, he said.
The Chief Minister said Punjab’s youth must have the right opportunities to build their future. There is nothing wrong with dreaming of going abroad, but young people should not be forced by circumstances to leave home or resort to the ‘dunki route’, he said.
