Rajvir Jawanda’s Final Journey: Last Rites to Take Place on October 9 in Jagraon

Mohali (Punjab): Popular Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda passed away on Wednesday morning at 10:55 AM at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, days after suffering critical injuries in a tragic road accident.

Hospital authorities confirmed that Jawanda had been admitted on September 27 with serious spinal and brain injuries. Despite intensive treatment and round-the-clock efforts by the Critical Care and Neurosurgery teams, he succumbed to multiple organ failure earlier today.

Fortis Hospital, in an official statement, expressed deep condolences to Jawanda’s family, friends, and countless fans mourning the loss of one of Punjab’s most beloved voices.

According to family sources, the last rites of Rajvir Jawanda will be conducted on October 9 at his native village Pona near Jagraon.

Widely admired for his soulful singing and popular hits, Jawanda carved a special place in Punjabi music. His timeless songs will continue to resonate with fans, keeping his legacy alive for generations to come.
