Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday expressed deep sorrow over the death of popular Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, who passed away during treatment following a tragic road accident near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh.
In his heartfelt message, the Chief Minister said the Punjabi music industry has lost a shining star. “Rajvir Jawanda, who ruled the hearts of people through his songs at such a young age, will always be remembered. May Waheguru grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family and fans to bear this loss,” he wrote.
Concluding his message with “Waheguru Waheguru,” Mann prayed for the late singer’s soul to find peace in the divine abode.
