Chandigarh: Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Empowerment Gaurav Gautam extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the eve of Haryana Day and said Haryana would play an important role in realising the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’.
He said the completion of 60 years of Haryana’s formation was a moment of pride for everyone. To mark the occasion, the state government was celebrating Haryana’s diamond jubilee. Over these six decades, Haryana had established a distinct identity in India and abroad through significant achievements in development, agriculture, industry, education, sports and the social sector.
Describing Haryana as the land of brave soldiers, farmers, hardworking people and sportspersons, the Minister said its soldiers had displayed exceptional courage and valour in defending the nation’s borders, while its farmers had enriched the country’s foodgrain reserves through their hard work.
Gaurav Gautam said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana Government was working continuously for all-round development and public welfare. It remained committed to creating better opportunities for young people, expanding sports facilities, encouraging sportspersons and promoting the welfare of farmers, women and every section of society.
He said the government was guided by the principles of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and ‘Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek’, and was consistently working for the development and well-being of Haryana and its people.
