‘Pakistan Feels Like Home’ Remark Sparks BJP Attack on Gandhi Family

New Delhi— The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Congress and the Gandhi family following Sam Pitroda’s controversial comment that “Pakistan feels like home.”

Addressing reporters, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandhari described the remarks as “anti-national” and accused Pitroda of speaking under the influence of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.

“Can a patriot ever say that a terror state like Pakistan feels like home? Sam Pitroda, a close aide of Rahul Gandhi and someone who has shaped the Gandhi family’s strategy for decades, makes such a statement. Congress leadership is making him say this,” Bhandhari alleged.

He further claimed that the remark was an affront to India’s soldiers and its 140 crore citizens. “If this is not anti-national, then what is it? Just a few days ago, ISI agent Shahid Afridi called Rahul Gandhi his idol, and now Rahul’s aide calls Pakistan home. This is an insult to India’s sovereignty,” Bhandhari said.

The BJP leader also recalled Rahul Gandhi’s past controversial remarks, asserting that such statements showed Congress’s willingness to undermine national interest.

The Congress party has yet to issue an official response to the BJP’s charges.
