Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh addresses 6th Convocation of J.C. Bose University

Chandigarh: Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh today urged graduates to carry forward the scientific temperament of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose, stating that his spirit of inquiry and innovation is more relevant than ever in the era of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Renewable Energy and Biotechnology. He called upon the young generation to participate directly in building a developed, self-reliant and inclusive India, describing it not merely as an opportunity but as a responsibility.

Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh was addressing the 6th Convocation of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, held at the University campus. Prof. Nageshwar Rao, Chairman, Executive Committee, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), attended as Guest of Honour and delivered the Convocation Address.

The Chancellor, as Governor of Haryana, announced a grant of Rs. 25-lakh from his discretionary fund for promote research and development (R&D) in the University, with a portion of these funds directed to support meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar highlighted the University’s academic expansion, implementation of NEP 2020, research and innovation initiatives, development of advanced laboratories and Centres of Excellence, digital examination reforms, placement and incubation activities, international collaborations and student development programmes.
