Seva Sankalp Abhiyan will take the 25-year public service journey of Prime Minister

Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda addressed a press conference at the PWD Rest House on Railway Road in Sonipat regarding the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which will be organised from September 17 to October 17, 2026, to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life and public service.

The Education Minister said that the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is not merely a programme, but a comprehensive campaign to take the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over 25 years in the fields of service, dedication and nation-building to every section of society.

Mahipal Dhanda said that as Chief Minister of Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi got an opportunity to rebuild the state after major natural disasters such as the devastating Bhuj earthquake.

He said that during his nearly 12-13 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat, a model of development emerged that was discussed not only across the country but also globally.

Prime Minister’s significant contribution in enhancing India’s pride

The Education Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has established a strong identity at the global level. He said that the conferment of the highest honours by numerous countries on the Prime Minister is also a symbol of India’s growing global influence.

Road, rail and air connectivity gave impetus to development

Dhanda said that strong infrastructure is essential for the development of any country. He said that during the tenure of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, historic work was undertaken to connect villages with all-weather roads through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

Basic facilities reached poor families

Mahipal Dhanda said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, special attention has been given to providing basic facilities to poor and needy families. Through the Ujjwala Yojana, LPG connections have been provided to women from crores of poor families.
