Chandigarh: The Qaumi Insaaf Morcha has called for a statewide shutdown across Punjab, urging residents, commercial establishments, and public organisations to support the demonstration. Announcing the call on Saturday, leadership representatives from the morcha appealed for broad public cooperation to ensure the success of the bandh.
The call for a state-wide strike comes against the backdrop of escalating tensions surrounding the group’s ongoing demonstration at the Chandigarh-Mohali border.
