Chandigarh: Haryana’s Irrigation and Water Resources and Women & Child Development Minister, Shruti Choudhry, today laid the foundation stones and inaugurated development projects worth approximately Rs. 25.34 crore in several villages of the Tosham Assembly constituency. The projects include works related to roads, sports facilities, community infrastructure and veterinary services.
Shruti Choudhry laid the foundation stone for the Tosham Bypass Road, to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 9.29 crore. In Dhani Rivasa, she inaugurated the track of the sports stadium constructed at a cost of Rs. 21 lakh under the Vidhayak Adarsh Nagar Evam Gram Yojana, as well as the main gate of the Chaudhary Surender Singh Stadium, constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) Scheme.
In Nigana Khurd, the Minister inaugurated a community building constructed at a cost of Rs. 52 lakh under the Haryana Rural Development Fund Scheme. In Nigana Kalan, she inaugurated a Government Veterinary Dispensary, constructed at a cost of Rs. 31.11 lakh.
Shruti Choudhry said the state government is continuously working to strengthen road connectivity in rural areas, while also improving sports facilities, community infrastructure and veterinary services.
