Haryana extends contractual employees’ portal deadlines; registration to be completed by August 31

Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has extended the timelines for various stages of the web portal for contractual employees seeking coverage under the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024 and Rules, 2025, giving eligible employees additional time to complete the process.

According to an official communication issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi to all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Managing Directors/Chief Administrators of Boards, Corporations and Authorities, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners, the revised schedule has been prescribed for the portal www.securedemployees.csharyana.gov.in.

Under the revised schedule, candidate registration on the portal can now be completed up to August 31, 2026. The government has also extended the subsequent verification stages. Verification by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) will continue up to September 10, 2026, while verification by the Head of Department (HOD) of applications received from DDOs will be completed by September 20, 2026.
