Jaipur: A protest gathering organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in Jaipur turned chaotic on Monday after party founder Abhijeet Dipke was allegedly manhandled moments before he was scheduled to address supporters.

According to videos circulating on social media, Dipke was being carried on the shoulders of supporters as he moved toward the stage when a group of individuals confronted him. The situation quickly escalated, with some people allegedly pulling his scarf, slapping him multiple times and attempting to drag him down from the crowd.

The incident triggered confusion and commotion at the protest venue, forcing supporters and organisers to intervene. Several attendees were seen trying to shield Dipke as tensions flared near the stage area.

The disruption occurred before Dipke could begin his speech, briefly overshadowing the protest programme. Videos of the altercation have since gone viral online, drawing widespread attention and sparking reactions across social media platforms.

The identities of the individuals involved and the circumstances that led to the confrontation were not immediately clear. No official statement regarding injuries or police action had been issued at the time of filing this report.

Attempts to contact Dipke’s associates for a response did not receive any immediate reply.

The Cockroach Janta Party has recently been organising protests in several cities over alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment processes, with demonstrations already held in Delhi, Pune, Lucknow and other locations.
