Washington DC: US President Donald Trump launched a sharp rebuke against Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday, accusing him of joining hands with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un in what he described as a “conspiracy against the United States.”

The statement came as Xi hosted Putin and Kim at Beijing’s grand military parade, the largest ever organized in the Chinese capital. The event, aimed at showcasing China’s growing military might, drew global attention, particularly for the presence of Moscow and Pyongyang’s leaders at Xi’s side.

In a strongly worded message, Trump pointed to America’s role in China’s past, recalling the sacrifices made by U.S. soldiers during China’s wartime struggles.

“The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and ‘blood’ that the United States of America gave to China in order to help it secure its freedom from a very unfriendly foreign invader,” Trump said.

He added that “many Americans died in China’s quest for victory and glory,” and urged that their bravery and sacrifice be honored during the celebrations.

Trump ended his message with a pointed remark directed at the gathering of Xi, Putin, and Kim:

“Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against the United States of America.”

The comments mark yet another escalation in rhetoric from Trump, who has repeatedly accused Beijing and Moscow of undermining U.S. interests globally.
