New Delhi: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini invited Japanese investors to partner with the state in innovation, manufacturing, technology, sustainability and future-oriented development while addressing the Indo-Japan Conclave in New Delhi. He said India and Japan share a strong strategic and economic partnership and can work together to build resilient supply chains and a next-generation industrial ecosystem.
The Chief Minister said Haryana has emerged as the largest hub for Japanese industries in India, with nearly 394 Japanese industries and over 600 Japanese business establishments operating in the state. He highlighted that during his visit to Japan last year, nine major Japanese companies expressed their commitment to invest around Rs 5,000 crore in Haryana, strengthening the state’s position as a preferred destination for Japanese businesses.
Saini said Haryana offers world-class infrastructure, strong connectivity, industrial townships and investor-friendly policies. He pointed to upcoming projects such as the Japanese Industrial Township in Jhajjar and a proposed Japanese cluster in Naraingarh, while also announcing special support through the Sakura Desk for Japanese investors. He added that Haryana is well-positioned for collaboration in sectors including electric vehicles, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, robotics, green manufacturing and MSMEs.
