PM Modi Holds Talks with Former Japanese PM Kishida on Expanding Ties

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Thursday and discussed ways to further deepen cooperation between the two countries.

Sharing details of the meeting, Modi said Kishida has always played an important role in strengthening India–Japan relations. The leaders reviewed ongoing collaboration in trade, technology, and human resource mobility, while also exploring opportunities in semiconductors and other emerging sectors.

The Prime Minister described the interaction as “wonderful,” stressing the shared commitment of both nations to expand their strategic and economic partnership.
