Toronto: The Toronto authorities are investigating the tragic death of Himanshi Khurana, a young woman of Indian origin, whose body was discovered in the city over the weekend. Canadian police have issued a nationwide arrest warrant for a suspect believed to have been closely connected to the victim.

Toronto Police reported that the 30-year-old woman went missing late on Friday, December 19. Officers responded to a report of a missing person in the Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street West area at around 10:41 p.m. The search continued overnight, and the victim’s body was found early the following morning inside a residence at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 20. The death is being treated as a homicide.
Authorities identified the deceased as Himanshi Khurana, a resident of Toronto. Police are actively seeking Abdul Ghafoori, 32, who is known to the victim and is now wanted under a Canada-wide first-degree murder warrant.
