Providence – Judge Frank Caprio, the beloved television judge known worldwide for his empathy and kindness in the courtroom, has passed away at the age of 88. He died peacefully on Wednesday after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer.
Caprio, who served as a traffic court judge in Rhode Island, gained international recognition through his reality show Caught in Providence. His compassionate rulings and heartfelt exchanges with ordinary people won millions of admirers across the globe, making him a rare figure in law and entertainment alike.
