Pathankot: Punjab BJP Working State President Ashwani Sharma on Thursday led a spirited tractor rally at the Binomial Border in the Pathankot sector as part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The rally, held on the eve of Independence Day, saw dozens of tractors adorned with the national flag moving along the frontier. Local farmers, youth, and residents joined in large numbers, turning the event into a grand celebration of patriotism.
Participants saluted the courage of soldiers stationed at the border and raised slogans honouring the armed forces. The vibrant display of tricolor flags and chants of unity created an atmosphere of national pride, echoing the spirit of freedom.
The event, BJP leaders said, was not just a tribute to the armed forces but also a reminder of every citizen’s duty to uphold the ideals of independence.
