Punjab Government Appoints New DCs for Amritsar, Pathankot, and Gurdaspur

Chandigarh: The Punjab government has announced the appointment of new Deputy Commissioners for three key districts — Amritsar, Pathankot, and Gurdaspur — as part of its administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening district governance.

IAS officer Dalvinder Singh has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar, while Pallavi, IAS, will take charge as the DC of Pathankot. Aditya Uppal has been named the new DC of Gurdaspur.

According to officials, the transfers are part of routine administrative restructuring to improve efficiency and accelerate the implementation of development initiatives at the district level.
