Chandigarh – In a significant move, the Punjab Education Department has cancelled the recruitment process for 2,000 Physical Training Instructor (Elementary Cadre) teachers.

According to the department’s order dated July 18, 2025, a recruitment notification had been issued earlier. However, a revised directive on August 10, 2025, formally withdrew the advertisement, effectively terminating the hiring process.

The order makes it clear that any applications submitted under the previous notification will not be processed. Candidates who applied through the official portal, www.educationrecruitmentboard.com, will have their applications disregarded, and the recruitment stands cancelled in entirety.
