Amritsar —As Punjab continues relief efforts after the recent floods, Rajya Sabha MP and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh visited the flood-affected village of Bhindi Saida in Raja Sansi constituency on Thursday.
During his visit, Singh distributed two ambulances and relief material to affected families. Speaking on the occasion, he said the ambulances and supplies were made possible through collective efforts and contributions. He emphasized that every Punjabi should step forward to visit flood-hit areas, understand the struggles of the victims, and stand beside them in this difficult time.
Singh added that he has been touring several flood-affected regions over the past few days. While floodwaters have receded in many villages, people are now facing severe problems due to mud and debris. Appealing to citizens, he urged everyone to contribute actively in providing help to those in distress.
