Gurugram: A court in Gurugram on Monday rejected the bail application of Punjab Cabinet Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjeev Arora, extending his judicial custody till June 26.
The order was pronounced after the court considered arguments presented by both the prosecution and the defence during the bail hearing on June 8. The verdict had been reserved after the hearing.
Arora was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on May 9 in connection with an ongoing investigation. He has remained in judicial custody since his arrest.
With the latest order, Arora will continue to remain in judicial custody until June 26, when the matter is scheduled to come up again before the court.
The Enforcement Directorate is continuing its investigation in the case.
