Tarn Taran— The Aam Aadmi Party’s campaign in the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election gained new energy on Sunday as Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s wife, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, and his mother joined efforts to campaign for party candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu.
Their presence in village Moose Kalan drew large gatherings and sparked enthusiasm among both AAP supporters and local residents. Engaging directly with voters, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur expressed gratitude for their strong backing, saying it reflected people’s faith in the Mann government’s welfare-oriented and transparent policies.
In a sign of growing support for AAP, several influential families from the area publicly announced their decision to quit traditional parties and join AAP in front of Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. Welcoming the new members, she assured them that every individual would be treated with respect and equal opportunity within the party.
Dr. Kaur said that the people of Tarn Taran had already chosen progress and development over divisive politics. She emphasized that Harmeet Singh Sandhu’s victory would strengthen the transformative work started by the Mann-led government.
She thanked residents for their trust and urged them to vote for continued progress in the upcoming November 11 by-election.
