Preliminary reports suggest the family, residents of Sirhind, was returning from the wedding function when the accident occurred. Just minutes after the bride’s doli had departed, a car carrying several relatives crashed into a truck after the truck driver allegedly applied sudden brakes.
The collision was so intense that three passengers — the bride’s mother, father, and aunt — died on the spot.
