Washington, D.C.: US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he has signed an Executive Order extending the suspension of tariffs on Chinese imports for an additional 90 days. The decision, he said, ensures that all other provisions of the existing trade agreement between the two nations will remain unchanged.
In his official statement, President Trump confirmed, “I have just signed an Executive Order that will extend the Tariff Suspension on China for another 90 days. All other elements of the Agreement will remain the same.”
The move comes at a time when trade relations between Washington and Beijing remain a critical focus of global markets. The tariff suspension, initially implemented to ease economic pressure and facilitate smoother trade, was set to expire soon.
