New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to make the admit cards for the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations available in the coming days. The examinations are scheduled to begin on February 17, and the board has already issued hall tickets for private candidates.

Based on past practice, CBSE usually releases admit cards for regular students nearly a week before the commencement of examinations. Students will not be permitted to enter the examination centre without a valid admit card, making it a compulsory document for every paper.

Once released, students should download their admit cards from the official CBSE website and verify all details printed on them. Particular attention should be paid to personal information such as name, roll number, photograph, subject codes, exam dates and the allotted examination centre. In case of any mismatch or error, candidates are advised to immediately contact their school authorities or the board for rectification.

How to download the CBSE admit card:

  • Visit the official website at cbse.gov.in
  • Click on the link for Class 10 or Class 12 admit cards
  • Log in using the required credentials
  • Download the admit card and save it
  • Take a clear printout for use during the examinations

Students are encouraged to regularly check the official CBSE portal for the latest announcements and updates related to the board examinations.
