Balrampur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday issued a stern warning to those attempting to disrupt the state’s development initiatives or create unrest during festivals. Addressing a public gathering in Balrampur, he said such acts would invite strict consequences that would be remembered for generations.

“On one hand, development is moving forward at an unrelenting pace, while on the other hand, certain elements are trying to obstruct it. They create hurdles in projects and seek to disturb festivals, considering anarchy their birthright,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister cautioned that such disruptive attempts would backfire. “If you disrupt schemes through anarchy, this very development will become the reason for your downfall. Anyone trying to cause trouble during festivals will pay the price, and their future generations will also remember it,” he said.

Earlier in the day, on the occasion of Sharadiya Navratri, Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at the Maa Pateshwari Devi temple in Tulsipur, Balrampur. The shrine, also known as Devi Patan, is one of the 51 revered Shakti Peethas of Goddess Durga.

Sharadiya Navratri, a nine-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga, is celebrated with devotion, fasting, and cultural performances across the country. Each day honors a different form of the goddess. On Sunday, devotees worshipped Maa Kaalratri, the fierce manifestation believed to destroy demons, evil spirits, and negative energies.
