Concurrently, the Lower House is set to continue its detailed consideration of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026. Union Minister Jitendra Singh is scheduled to steer the bill forward, urging Parliament to consider and pass the measure aimed at curbing examination malpractices and enforcing stricter penalties against organised paper leaks. Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi is expected to address the House directly on the matter, representing opposition concerns over recent irregularities in national competitive tests and demanding greater accountability from central authorities.
Beyond educational reforms, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal will bring the Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Amendment Bill, 2026, before the House for consideration and passage.
