As the Prime Minister’s aircraft entered UAE airspace, it was met and escorted by UAE F16 fighter jets in a significant gesture of bilateral respect and security cooperation. Upon landing in Abu Dhabi, the Prime Minister was accorded a formal guard of honour, setting a high-profile tone for a visit aimed at deepening India’s strategic footprint in the Gulf and Europe.
