Three Killed in Separate Road Accidents in Ballia, UP

BALLIA (UP): Three people lost their lives and four others were injured in separate road accidents in Ballia district, police officials reported on Friday.

In one incident near Dharmapur village on Thursday evening, a tempo reportedly went out of control and overturned into a roadside ditch. A 40-year-old woman, Archana Pandey, along with her two daughters, sustained serious injuries.

Circle Officer (Sadar) Rakesh Kumar Singh said the injured were rushed to the district hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Archana Pandey succumbed to her injuries, while the condition of her daughters remains critical. The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem examination.

Police have initiated an investigation into the accidents, urging motorists to exercise caution on the roads. Authorities said further details regarding the other accidents in the district would be released as information becomes available.

The incidents highlight ongoing concerns over road safety in the region, with officials emphasizing the need for adherence to traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies.
